Israel celebrates its 75th anniversary: ​​events with distinguished guests will be held in Tel Aviv

Israeli President Yitzhak Herzog and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will address thousands of Jewish leaders from around the world who have gathered in Tel Aviv to celebrate Israel's 75th anniversary.

Leaders of Jewish communities and organizations from 20 countries will arrive in Israel this week to participate in the celebrations in honor of the 75th anniversary of Israel. Delegations will gather at the Tel Aviv Ganei Taaruha Conference Center on April 23 at 20:00 at a key event organized by Jewish Federations of North America, the Jewish Agency for Israel, Keren Hayesod and the World Zionist Organization.

This event opens the annual General Assembly Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA), the largest North American Jewish organization with more than 2000 representatives from the US and Canada.

“Without Israel, it is impossible to imagine the existence of Jewish communities in North America. We are honored to be in Israel with thousands of leaders of our communities and to celebrate a historic occasion with our Israeli brothers and sisters,” the chairman said in a statement. Jewish Federations of North America Julie Platt. “But we came not only to celebrate, but also to listen, learn and discuss with Israeli leaders from the coalition and the opposition on all issues important to the Jewish Diaspora.”
