Famous Russian TV host went to Israel

TV presenter Ivan Urgant received Israeli citizenship. About it Rtvi told sources in the government of the country.

Urgant issued an identity card (citizen ID-card) at the airport. Now, according to an RTVi source, he needs to go to the country's Ministry of Internal Affairs and get a passport there.

However, Urgant himself wrote in his instagram that he was not going to emigrate from Russia.

"Friends! Subscribers! Thank you everyone for such excitement and concern) I really went to Israel...For two days.
The women who raised me and whom I love very much are buried here - my great-grandmother and my aunt. I remain a citizen of Russia, I love my country very much and I have no plans to leave it. Out of respect for my family, I ask: do not scare my grandmother Nina Nikolaevna with my mythical emigration!” he wrote on the social network.

The Israeli Russian-language newspaper Vesti wrote on June 10 that Urgant received an Israeli citizen ID card from the department for receiving new repatriates at Ben Gurion Airport. According to the publication, the TV presenter repatriated with his wife Natalya Kiknadze and daughters.

At the end of May an Israeli passport got Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich. At first, this was denied by both the businessman and the ministry of repatriation of the country, but then the information was confirmed by the Israeli Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Ivan Urgant is a Russian TV presenter and showman. He hosts his own live program on Channel One - “Evening Urgant”. Celebrities are invited to it, with whom Urgant communicates in the format of American evening talk shows.
