Irma brings a new threat to Florida: snakes and alligators. VIDEO
Hurricane Irma brought devastating winds and floods to Florida.
Now the storm has receded, but a large amount of water has created a new threat to residents of the state - snakes and alligators, writes CBS.
The Florida Department of Health has issued a warning for residents to be careful and cautious about snakes and alligators that Irma could move.

The warning came after locals reported finding dangerous reptiles that roamed Florida’s residential neighborhoods. In the center of Melbourne, a man videotaped an alligator crossing an empty road near houses and businesses.

In social networks appeared several photos and videos of wild animals on the streets.
Despite the appearance of dangerous wild animals on the streets, local wildlife parks assure the public that none of their pets will run away.
The Gatorland Wildlife Reserve in Orlando, home to thousands of alligators, raccoons, and poisonous snakes, said its staff are closely watching reptiles that were moved indoors to the period of the hurricane.
“If you see an alligator swimming down the street right next to your house, it's not ours. Don't call us. Call the Florida Department of Fish and Wildlife, the sanctuary president said.
Irma also threw on the streets manatees, which are not dangerous.
