Impeach Trump: House of Representatives begins reviewing initiative

It is expected that on Wednesday, July 17, the House of Representatives will vote for impeachment against President Donald Trump.

Rep. El Green, Texas, submitted articles on impeachment in the form of a resolution requiring the House of Representatives to take action within two legislative days.

Green's resolution faces great difficulties, but a vote nevertheless reveals a dilemma for both impeachants and moderate democrats, since they must either not support the resolution or send it to the Judicial Committee.

Green has twice introduced such measures against Trump, but a potential vote on Wednesday will be the first to be chaired by Nancy Pelosi.

While any member of the House of Representatives may submit a preferred decision, Pelosi is still held back their party from this, since the Democrats took control of the chamber, despite the fact that more than 80 members insisted on starting the impeachment procedure.

Green rejected calls from his party to refrain from a resolution that he submitted on Tuesday evening, arguing that the impeachment should follow a vote on Tuesday in the House of Representatives that condemned racist president tweets.

Green presents a resolution on impeachment a week before special attorney Robert Muller publicly testifies before the House of Representatives, and this event, according to many supporters of the impeachment, will be key to public influence on the impeachment.

Other Democrats of the House of Representatives who support the start of the investigation of the impeachment said they would support the measure of Green.

Green himself noted that his ruling on impeachment was not related to Muller or the results of his investigation.

“You don’t delay justice. The Mueller hearings have nothing to do with what we are doing now. The Mueller hearings are about obstruction, it's about bigotry and the racism that has permeated politics," Greene said.

In December 2017 of the year and January of 2018, Green also submitted resolutions on impeachment. Then they scored 364-58 and 355-66 votes, respectively, with the majority of Democrats joining the Republicans not to miss them in both cases.
