An immigrant has excavated five new houses because he was not paid.
A builder in the British city of Buntingford destroyed with excavator five new houses, which residents were soon to move into. He explained to the police that he was not paid for the work.
According to Tjournal, the worker's name is Daniel Nigu. He is 30 years old, he is from Romania and lives in the UK for three years. The builder caused damage in the amount of 3.325 million dollars.
An eyewitness who called the police told Metro that at the time of the destruction the builder “laughed and took photos.” According to him, talking to the police, the man was "absolutely calm."
The police reported that residents of neighboring houses were afraid that their buildings would also be destroyed. The builder told them that he was destroying only those houses for the construction of which he owed money.
13 August in the Nigu case was the first meeting, he answered questions via video link while in the cell of the police station. He did not plead guilty, the next meeting was scheduled for September 10.
