An immigrant from Russia became the prosecutor of one of the districts of California: a success story
An immigrant from Russia, Nikita Skokov, works in the Sacramento County Attorney's Office (California). This is stated in the video Sacramento County Attorney's Office.
“Hello, my name is Nikita. I'm a Sacramento County prosecutor and have been with the District Attorney's Office for about two years. I was born in Moscow (Russia), and moved to the USA when I was 3-4 years old, so I remember almost nothing about Russia,” says Nikita.
Skokov spent his childhood in California. Deciding not to leave the family, he will get a job not far from home.
“I grew up here in California. “He graduated from law school in San Diego (California) and the University of Law, also in San Diego,” continues Nikita. — Before that, I lived in the BayArea. One of the reasons why I moved back to Sacramento is because my family is close here. That’s why I took the job in Sacramento.”
