Ilon Musk told about his project of an overspeed passenger train, which will move in a tunnel with discharged air, back in 2013 year. The businessman claims that trains will be able to move at a speed of 1000 kilometers per hour or even more. For example, a trip from Bratislava to Vienna will take no more than 5 minutes, and from Paris to Amsterdam - 30 minutes.

During the same time, the train will pass the distance from New York to Washington. In this case, the path will pass through Baltimore and Philadelphia. Stations hyperloops planned to be located in the city center, and they will have dozens of entrances and exits.

The construction of the tunnels is carried out by a company owned by Musk - The Boring Company. And at the end of June it was reported that the drilling of the first section of the route was completed.

That Ilon received verbal approval from the government, Musk wrote in his Twitter.

An hour later, he said that it was necessary to obtain official confirmation that the project was approved.

“It will take a lot of work to get official approval. But I'm optimistic. And I believe that this will happen quickly,” Musk said.

The US Department of Transportation sent a request to the White House. The representative of the White House responded evasively and confirmed that there were certain negotiations with Musk.
