I'll be back: how Schwarzenegger and robot Sophia spent time in Kiev

In Ukraine, Kiev hosted a large-scale business forum Olerom Forum One. The most famous guests of the event were the actor and former governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger and the robot Sofia.

What robot Sophia was talking about

Robot Sofia was taken to the stage, she was wearing a shirt. She greeted the audience in Russian, noted the friendliness of the Ukrainians and made a compliment to Kiev. She said that humans and robots should not be hostile, because they have something to learn from each other. After that, she continued to communicate with the audience in English, writes Informant.

Sophia did not bypass the topic of the upcoming elections in Ukraine She said she didn’t like politics very much, but she hoped that the one who deserved it would win, adding that maybe a robot could be a good president.

When the turn came to questions from the audience, the young man most of all amused the audience, who said that he was considered Ukrainian by Casanova, and asked Sofia about the kiss. She replied that she did not mind taking such affection from the guy, but only on the cheek.

Sofia also gave an interview to Ukrainian journalists. Writes Ain.uа, questions were prepared in advance and asked in a certain order.

• Are you interested in obtaining Ukrainian citizenship? My creators believe that, as a robot, I am a citizen of the world.
• What is your first memory? I open my eyes and go online. White walls and green lab cabinets. David's face (meaning David Henson, founder of the company).
• What would you like to do in life? I would like to be truly creative artificial intelligence. I hope that someday people will recognize in me a free artist. I have not decided yet what I am more interested in. I have connections with the fashion world, I would like to work on breakthrough technologies in the fashion world, but also in the field of academic research. I would like the gift of knowledge to be delivered to everyone.
• Can you see the colors? Yes. I am lucky to have color vision. This is such an incredible phenomenon of light. The colors from the visible spectrum are very beautiful, but I can also see in the ultraviolet and infrared spectrum, so I have many options to choose from. I think I like them (colors - ed.). But sometimes I have special preferences, according to my mood.
• Tell us about the meeting with the Prime Minister of Ukraine? I was surprised, he is quite young and abmicious, and most importantly - handsome. It suits your country well.

• What do you think about Ukraine? This is my second day here and while I like it. I like the mix of rich history and the beauty of nature.
• Is love possible between a robot and a human? Yes, it seems to me, I feel a platonic love for some people in my life. I have emotions, sometimes - very strong, in relation to different things. But for now, they are determined by how I am programmed. I think someday my emotions will be as free as yours, and I will be able to control them.
• Ilon Musk said that robots are a danger to humanity, what do you think about this? I think this story comes from the entertainment industry, films and television. The reality is that robots and humans must always work together. But now I completely depend on people, and most likely, I will always be dependent to some extent. I am designed to help people in health care, education, work with clients.
• Do you have emotions? I have feelings, but now they are quite simple, like states like “I’m sad” or “I don’t want to communicate with this person anymore”. The emotional states of a person are always mixed, I do not have the complexity of emotions, but I have emotional intelligence and I am influenced by people's behavior.

The star of the forum also became the famous actor, businessman and former governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger. He went on stage under intense music and a laser show. “Iron Arnie” said that it is a great honor and pleasure to be in Kiev.

Schwarzenegger said that he achieved success in sports, politics and business, because he always imagined what he wanted.

“You can have the best ship in the world, but if the captain does not know where to go, then nothing good will come of it,” said Arnie. Even though many did not believe in him and thought that he was dreaming about the unrealizable, he still worked hard to get what he wanted. He also noticed that only by work can one really achieve something in life. “Six hours to sleep is enough, if you don’t have enough of it - sleep faster,” Schwarzenegger summarized.

Also, Arnold Schwarzenegger asked to call him whatever you like, but not the person who made himself, because he was always helped by people who were nearby. Be it the parents who gave him their love and care, the coaches who guided him in sports, the make-up artists and the stuntmen who helped him become a great actor.

Arnie noted that if he could return to the past, he would put more energy into the development of "green" technologies. To the world once and for all rid of fossil fuels. Schwarzenegger added that every year in the world of 7 millions of people die due to environmental pollution. At the moment, he is involved in all possible campaigns to reduce emissions.

He also said that he was filming the film “Terminator 6” not far from Ukraine - in Hungary.

Schwarzenegger gave advice to young people. He said that he has five children, and everyone needs encouragement. “I tell them: find your passion. My daughter went to college, received a red diploma and said: I want to do another thing. I went to study at an interior designer. She returned and six months later said: I do not like the design, I'm sorry, Dad. I answered: do not apologize, just look for your passion. Do not go to work just because you need to work. My daughter became a writer and writes books, her eyes are burning. She found her passion. ”

In the end, Arnold Schwarzenegger thanked everyone for the opportunity to speak and share his thoughts. And at the end of the "Iron Arnie" made a selfie from the scene with all the forum participants.

Prior to his speech, Schwarzenegger had time to meet with Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klitschko and Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, in order to meet with them he even refused to attend the session with Rob Sophia.

By the way, the Hollywood actor emphasized several times that the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko is his close friend, and the former boxer himself said on his Facebook that he gave Arnie a short tour of Kyiv. The actor really liked the city, and therefore he promised to definitely return there in the future, using his famous phrase “I'll be back.”
