An Uzbek man wanted for terrorism in his home country received a commercial license in the US and worked as a truck driver.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested an Uzbek citizen in Kansas, who was wanted in his home country for participating in a terrorist organization. He was in the United States illegally and working as a truck driver, according to reports. official site US Department of Homeland Security.
The man entered the country under the Biden administration, received a work permit, and even a commercial driver's license issued in Pennsylvania.
The US Department of Homeland Security announced that ICE has arrested 31-year-old Akhror Bozorov, a citizen of Uzbekistan wanted in his home country for participating in a terrorist organization. In 2022, Uzbek authorities placed him on the wanted list for allegedly belonging to a terrorist group. He is accused of online dissemination of propaganda calling for jihad and recruiting people to join the jihadist movement.

ICE arrested him on November 9 in Kansas, where Ahror worked as a commercial truck driver. He obtained a commercial driver's license in Pennsylvania. His work permit was issued in January 2024.
Deputy Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin stated, "Ahror Bozorov, an international fugitive wanted for terrorism, was admitted into the country by the Biden administration and later obtained a commercial driver's license in Pennsylvania. Clearly, undocumented immigrants wanted for terrorism should not be driving heavy-duty trucks on American highways. Biden and Mayorkas [Alejandro Nicolas] have allowed numerous terrorists into the country. President Trump and DHS Secretary Noem have given ICE the authority to find and detain these types of individuals who pose a threat to national security."

Bozorov illegally crossed the US border in February 2023. Border Patrol detained him, but he was later released by the Biden administration and remains in the country.
