Hawaiian Airlines has launched a new plane with incredibly comfortable seats in economy class

On May 15, Hawaiian Airlines officially unveiled the cabin of its new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, which will enter the airline's fleet in November. Points Guy.

In the business class cabin, passengers will be in separate rooms, called the Leihoku Suite. Meanwhile, in the economy class cabin, seats have become larger, there are screens in the backs of the seats, power ports and more.

The 12 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners will fly across the Pacific to destinations in the US mainland and Asia.

When the Dreamliners enter service, these twin-body aircraft will have 34 business class cabins arranged in seven rows in a 1-2-1 configuration.

Hawaiian chose Adient Aerospace's Ascent product for its business class cabin.

Although Hawaiian is touted as a launch customer for this new product, Qatar Airways is actually already using these suites aboard its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. Hawaiian was supposed to be the first airline to use Ascent products, but due to delivery delays, Qatar beat it to the punch.

The Ascent product on the Qatari Dreamliner is an extremely comfortable and almost secluded capsule.

The window seats face away from the aisle to provide maximum privacy, with the center seats facing each other. This design may not be very convenient for solo travelers, but is ideal for those traveling in pairs.

Other amenities include a TV, universal AC, USB-A and USB-C outlets, and Qi wireless charging cradles.

When it's time to rest, each seat turns into a full-size bed.

Economy class on Hawaiian Boeing 787 Dreamliner

In addition to business class, Dreamliners will have 266 economy class seats in an industry-standard 3-3-3 configuration. It is equipped with seats from the company Aspire. Hawaiian assures that these seats have more shoulder and hip room thanks to their modern design.

Most seating is in 78 cm increments. The 79 economy seats will be sold as Extra Comfort with extra legroom and access to universal AC outlets.

All Economy Class seats are equipped with USB-A and USB-C charging ports, as well as 12-inch TV screens in the seatbacks.

Hawaiian loves to bring local culture to the passenger experience, and this spirit is very strong on board the carrier's new Dreamliners.

The design of the entrance area next to the 2L door is inspired by the texture of natural Hawaiian wood, and the purple overhead light in this area is inspired by a local flower.

Interior lighting supposedly reflects scenes from the Hawaiian archipelago, including soft daylight and soothing sunrises and sunsets. The deep marine color of the carpet is designed to create an ocean vibe.

Other touches include the Hawaiian language integrated into seat numbers and plaques throughout the aircraft. Even the toilet signs are decorated in Hawaiian style. Wherever you look, you will easily realize that you are flying with Hawaiian Airlines.
