A young American was accused of raping a girl in Gelendzhik.

A US citizen 19 years and a teenager detained in Gelendzhik on charges of rape a girl in a hotel, writes RIA News.
According to investigators, on the night of 13 in July, an 19-year-old US citizen invited an 16-year-old teenager and a young girl whom he met on the street in the village of Divnomorskoye to visit his hotel room in Gelendzhik.

“The young men, being alone in the room with the girl, committed other acts of a sexual nature against her and, under similar circumstances, raped her that same night. After some time, the victim was able to escape from the room and run away from the defendants. The girl reported the crime committed against her to law enforcement agencies,” the investigation informs.
According to the ministry, a criminal case was initiated against a teenager and a US citizen, charged with rape and sexual assault against a girl.

“Currently, a 16-year-old teenager and a 19-year-old US citizen have been detained and investigations are being carried out with them. In the near future, a petition will be sent to the court to select a preventive measure against them. Forensic medical and genetic examinations have been scheduled. The criminal investigation continues,” the statement says.
