Yellowstone Chicken: A Man Cooking Chickens in the Park's Hot Springs
An Idaho man was temporarily banned from visiting Yellowstone National Park after cooking chicken in one of the geysers. More about the unusual incident told the publication Fox News.

The man, who was part of a group of 10 visitors, was spotted on August 7 as he carried dishes towards the thermal spring. During an inspection, a park keeper found two chickens in a hot spring.
Yellowstone's safety regulations prohibit visitors from stepping off boardwalks and near thermal facilities to prevent injury or destruction of life forms found in geysers and hot springs. Food is also prohibited in the thermal waters.
Following the indictments, the Idaho man pleaded guilty. He was sentenced to two years of probation without supervision. During this time, he is prohibited from visiting the national park. In addition, he is to pay two fines of $ 600 each.

A Yellowstone spokesman confirmed that two other men (one from Idaho, the other from Utah) also mentioned in connection with the incident.
In recent years, several visitors to the park have been punished or even injured for coming too close to thermal facilities. In 2019, two men were arrested for trespassing for tourists when they tried to take close-up pictures of the source.
This year, several tourists were burned in the national park, including a three-year-old child who escaped from a trail and slipped in a hot spring area.
