One of the department's subscribers was surprised that the new date for announcing the results falls on a non-working day - Saturday, but the State Department replied that due to the changing situation they could not yet give any updates or explanations on this matter.

And they may have difficulties due to the fact that, amid the coronavirus pandemic, US President Donald Trump announced a temporary cessation of immigration to the United Statesincluding the issuance of green cards.

So far, a temporary ban has been set only for 60 days, until June 22, 2020, but if the decree is extended until the fall or longer, the winners who did not manage to draw up documents will lose their green cards.
