Google creates a subway map of New York

Google Maps changed the way people move through the streets of new york and many other cities. Tourists often prefer to “google” the direction to the place they need, rather than asking passers-by.

But the action Google Maps did not apply to travel on 472 metro stations of the city, and now the search engine intends to correct this situation, writes Time-out.

Recently Google Maps Began to show the schemes of some stations of the subway of New York. A similar function exists in Japan for a long time, but Google intends to bring maps of New York to a new level of detail, indicating all possible ways to move around the city.

In the last few years Google began to track the availability of places in restaurants in some cities, the company is also working to improve the function Street View, visualizing the interiors of airports and train stations in New York and beyond.

However, the new update promises to be much more useful, pointing to the map entrances to the subway station, transitions in them, and paving routes using the subway.
