Where in the world is school education better than in the USA?

According to authoritative rating Programs for International Student Assessment (PISA) The United States ranks 18th in the world in educational attainment. The program evaluates academic performance in three areas - mathematics, natural sciences, and reading.

The Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) measures the academic performance of 15-year-olds around the world. Every three years, this comprehensive assessment, conducted by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), scrutinizes students' abilities in reading, math and science, providing valuable information about the effectiveness of education systems around the world.

According to the 2023 results, which were published on December 5, the United States ranks 18th in the overall ranking with 489 points, in mathematics - 34th place with 465 points, science - 16th place (499 points), and reading - 9th place (504 points) in ranking among all countries in reading.
