California Governor Selling Trump Trolling Merchandise
California Governor Gavin Newsom is now selling Donald Trump-themed merchandise, including $100 Bibles that are “sold out,” in a taunt to the president, writes Axios.
Newsom has been taunting Trump for days by writing in all caps on social media. Now, in an apparent mockery of him, he has opened a "Patriot Shop."
"THE PATRIOTIC STORE IS NOW OPEN!!!!," the Democratic governor announced on social media on August 24. "MANY ARE SAYING THIS IS THE GREATEST MERCH EVER CREATED. ENJOY IT, AMERICA!"
The site offers to buy, for example, the “Holy Bible” with the signature “America’s favorite governor!” for $100.

The president's "Bibles," called "God Bless the USA," are offered for $60 each and come with the lyrics to Lee Greenwood's song of the same name, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, and the Pledge of Allegiance.
Over the past few weeks, the California governor has been making fun of the 47th president's style by posting in all caps and signing it "GCN" (Trump likes to sign his posts "DJT").
“I’m just following Trump’s lead,” Newsom told reporters last week. “If you have a problem with what I put out, you sure as hell should be worried about what he puts out as president.”
The Patriot Store offers, among other things, T-shirts that read “Trump Is Not Cool,” red caps with the slogan “Newsom Was Right About Everything!” and a “Chosen One” T-shirt, which depicts the California governor surrounded by Tucker Carlson, Kid Rock and Hulk Hogan. Trump himself declared himself “Chosen One” in 2019.
Three hours after the store opened, Newsom bragged in a post on Platform X: "WOW! $50 IN SALES ALREADY!! THANK YOU PATRIOTS!!!"

The store is operated by Bright Blue Ink, a Texas-based company working on behalf of the Campaign For Democracy.
Newsom is taunting the president because he monetizes his political agenda. Trump makes millions of dollars from sneakers, cryptocurrency, Christmas wrapping paper, guitars, perfume, phones, and a line of MAGA hats.
