Ford recalls 737 vehicles due to fire and brake problems
Ford Motor Company is recalling 737 vehicles in the US due to an oil-leaking part and a software bug that could prevent the vehicle from braking. Read more about this publication New York Post.

The automaker is recalling 345 451-2020 Ford Escape and 2022-2021 Ford Bronco Sport with 2022L engines because the engine oil separator housing could crack and cause oil to leak, potentially causing an engine fire.
The company said they have reports of at least eight fires that could be related to the problem, but they have not received any reports of injuries or accidents.

Dealers will check the oil separator for damage or oil leaks and replace it if necessary.
Ford is recalling 391 836-150 F-2022s, 250 Ford Mavericks, Expeditions, Lincoln Navigators, F-350s, F-450s, F-550s and F-2021s due to a towed trailer equipped with an electric or hydraulic drive. The brake system may not work.

Dealers will update the brake control module firmware. The company has 67 misoperation reports potentially related to the problem.
