The lobby of the house in New York was decorated with posters of Hitler and Stalin.
A few months ago, portraits of dictators Benito Mussolini, Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin, as well as images of World War II, appeared in the foyer of a residential building on 48 Avenue in Queens in New York.
After seeing the complaints of the residents of the house on social networks, as well as the protest action organized by them on August 24, activist Jeff Orlik decided to disrupt the images, reports DNA Info.
“Everyone expresses their outrage about this, and no one does anything. Someone had to do something, and it’s a real shame that it took so long,” Orlik said.
The activist said that he came to the 28 building in August and tore off several images of world leaders from the Second World War. Among them were portraits of Franklin Roosevelt, Winston Churchill, but also Joseph Stalin, Benito Mussolini and Adolf Hitler, who raised his hand in a Nazi salute against the background of the swastika.
Orlik did not touch the posters with the image of the American flag, Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King, Jr.
According to the activist, the person who decorated the lobby in this way “terrorized” the residents of the house, since the images among which they had to live did not represent their views and interests.
Resonance due to this story in social networks prompted local authorities to launch an investigation into the ruler of the house, Neil Milano.

According to the residents, Milano often mocks them, controlled their privacy and threatened them with fines or evictions if they did something he didn’t like.
One resident admitted that he no longer invited friends to visit because of the posters in the lobby. However, he refused to give his name, fearing the vengeance of the ruler.
Journalists were unable to contact Milano himself.
