Schoolchildren staged a bloody massacre on a train: an axe, a samurai sword, knives and baseball bats were used

Four schoolchildren injured in fight on French train involving axe and samurai sword. One of them had his arm cut off, reports CBS News.

Four teenagers were injured, two seriously, by an axe wielded by one of the teenagers during the fight, police sources said. The incident took place on a Paris suburban train on November 4. The main suspect has been arrested.

One of the victims (all were 16-17 years old) had his arm chopped off, and another had his skull cracked. Two other participants in the incident received lighter injuries.

The fight began around 8 a.m. when the teenagers were driving to school. It is not yet clear who exactly provoked the conflict, but in addition to an axe and a samurai sword, the students used a knife and baseball bats.

All victims were taken to hospital; their lives are not in danger.

The main suspect, a 16-year-old boy, was later arrested at his home and is in custody, a police source said.

He noted that during the search, an axe was found and confiscated from the suspect.

The incident occurred when the RER suburban express train was at Ozoir-la-Ferriere station, southeast of Paris.

A message posted on the official RER E social media account X read: "An incident on the TUVA train, currently at Ozoir station, requires the train to remain on the platform. We are awaiting police intervention."

A subsequent report said traffic in both directions was slowed by a "scuffle on a train at Ozoir station."

The RER E line runs from east to west through Paris and its suburbs.
