Facebook visited a billion users per day
The head of Facebook's social network, Mark Zuckerberg, said that on Monday, August 24, the resource’s attendance reached one billion people a day.
About this he wrote on his page on Facebook.
“We have just passed an important stage. For the first time, one billion people used Facebook in one day. On Monday, one in seven people on Earth used Facebook to connect with friends and family. When we talk about our financial performance, we use averages, but that's not the case here. This was the first time we had reached this milestone, and this is just the beginning of global connectivity,” he writes.
Zuckerberg stressed that he is proud of the progress achieved by the social network.
“Our community stands for giving every person a voice... and all the opportunities in our modern world,” he concludes.
