Facebook hired people to listen to users voice messages

Facebook Inc, the owner of the eponymous social network, hired people who listened to and decrypted audio messages sent by Facebook users. Writes about this Voice of America.

The company confirmed that Facebook was involved in decrypting audio files recorded and sent by users in the messenger, but added that they had already abandoned this practice.
