Screening of a film about the revolution in Hungary

The historical thriller by Peter Bergendi, inspired by real events, is set in 1956, a few days after the suppression of the Hungarian Revolution.

In November 1956, the reorganized Ministry of the Interior, having suppressed the struggle for freedom with blood, faced the difficult situation when they could not enter their own vault, where confidential and personal materials are stored. Behind the vault door, they find something completely different from what they expected.

The show is dedicated to the 1956 revolution that erupted on 23 October. A few weeks later, on November 11, the revolution and the struggle for freedom were suppressed by the combined forces of the Hungarian Communist Party and the Soviet army. The brutal repression and oppression of the Hungarian people have been condemned by the United Nations and public opinion around the world.
