The Ambassador of Ukraine to the USA Volodymyr Yelchenko told about it.

According to him, they are now working on a serious, well-prepared visit, not a “visit for the sake of a visit.”

As noted, we are talking about an official trip with a mandatory visit to two or more states.

In the United States, preparations are underway to open a consulate general in Houston, Texas, which Zelensky may open.

“It could be a trip to California, while no Ukrainian president has been there. This could be a trip to Washington state, Seattle, where the most dynamically growing diaspora in the United States. In and around Seattle, according to our data, there are already about 70 Ukrainians working, this is the number that has developed over the past ten years, this is a new diaspora,” he said.

Also, according to the ambassador, it is necessary to prepare trade agreements, investment agreements so that the parties can sign them.

“We have several serious projects, they are at the stage of preparation for implementation.” - he added.
