20-hour confrontation: raccoon attacked judge's house in Texas
In the city of Rosebad, Texas, a raccoon at 20 hours seized the home of local judge Matthew Wright.

According to the judge, the raccoon got into his house early in the morning and began to destroy everything. Wright tried to catch the animal for about 20 hours. “We have reached a tactical dead end. We decided on a strategic retreat: set traps in the hope that the enemy would risk getting out for food, ”he wrote. The man added that the animal ignored the trap and fell asleep on the ledge.

As a result, Wright still managed to catch a raccoon and put it in a cage. He promised to release him in 30 minutes "with a ban on illegal penetration."
Earlier, residents of the Canadian province of Ontario faced an invasion of drunken raccoons. Biologists at Carleton University reported that the animals probably ate fruit that had fermented in the heat.
In May, in the English village of Clarborough, County Nottinghamshire, two escaped Ussuri raccoons terrorized local residents. It was noted that the animals escaped from the aviary. Authorities warned local residents that Ussuri raccoons could be dangerous to others. The police advised anyone who saw animals to call an emergency phone immediately.
