Among those detained are actresses Amy Schumer and Emily Ratajkowski, writes Air Force
On Thursday, thousands of people marched through the streets of the American capital. They gathered outside the appellate court building, where Judge Cavanaugh sits, against whom charges of rape were brought.
Then a rally was held near the US Supreme Court building, the participants of which chanted: “Kavanaugh must go!”
The police surrounded the protesters outside the Senate building after they sat down on the ground and refused to disperse. Another protest was held at the Trump Tower in New York.

Kavano enjoys the support of US President Donald Trump.
Charges and Investigation
Kavano is accused of attempting to rape 30 years ago.
The first accusation against him was made by the psychology professor Christina Blazi Ford, followed by accusations of inappropriate behavior and depraved acts by two more women.
Kavano himself categorically rejects these accusations.
President Donald Trump instructed the FBI to investigate these allegations before October 5, when the candidature of Brett Cavanau for the position of judge of the US Supreme Court should be approved in the Senate.
On Thursday, the situation escalated as the Republicans claimed that the FBI investigation had withdrawn allegations of sexual harassment from Kavano, but Democrats insist that the five-day investigation was made hastily, since the White House had previously set a time frame for it.
The probability of passing the candidacy of Cavano in the Senate increased after Thursday, two senators, whose votes will be key, positively evaluated the verdict issued by the FBI investigation.
It is difficult to predict what this vote will turn out, since a number of senators are hesitant on this issue, and one is thought to be missing due to the wedding of his daughter.
If 53-year-old Kavano is approved for a lifetime position in the US Supreme Court, this will strengthen the position of conservatives in the panel of judges consisting of an 9 person.
These judges make the final decision on issues such as abortion, control over the sale of weapons and the voting procedure.
