US President Jimmy Carter undergoes a complicated operation
39 US President Jimmy Carter, according to pastor Tony Louden, who visited him at the hospital, “got up and walked” just one day after the operation to relieve pressure on his brain from bleeding associated with recent falls.
Rev. Tony Loudin of Maranatha Baptist Church visited Carter on Wednesday at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta and told reporters that the 95-year-old president is in a good mood.
Carter Center spokeswoman Dinn Congileo said there were no complications during Carter’s surgery for the subdural hematoma, when blood was drawn between the skull and the surface of the brain.
She said that the most venerable age, the president of America remains in the hospital under supervision. It is unclear when he will be discharged.
Bleeding has been linked to Carter's recent fall. He needed a hip replacement surgery. In October, he fell twice, one of the times hitting his head.
Carter Democrat, was the 39 President of the United States from 1977 to 1981.

In 2002, Carter received the Nobel Peace Prize for humanitarian work. Currently, 95-year-old Jimmy Carter is considered the most long-lived of all US presidents.
The fall at his 21 house on October was the second in the last few weeks and led to the hospitalization of the politician.
