- Four Seasons (Season 2): New York State, Jersey Shore, Italy
Based on the 1981 film of the same name, Netflix's Four Seasons features a star-studded cast including Tina Fey, Will Forte, Colman Domingo, Marco Calvani, and Kerri Kenney. They play best friends who spend the holidays together every year.

The first season of the series took place in the verdant Hudson Valley of New York State, as well as on Palomino Island in Puerto Rico.
In Season 2, as the gang mourns the loss of their beloved friend (Steve Carell), the crew returns to the Hudson Valley and then travels to the Jersey Shore and Italy.
The trailer promises sandy Atlantic beaches, breathtaking shots of historic squares, Vespa rides, and the worst football you've ever seen on screen.
The premiere of the second season of the series "Four Seasons" is May 28.
- Strong Ballad: Dublin, Ireland
"A Strong Ballad" is a new film from Irish writer and director John Carney that shows his home city of Dublin.
In this musical drama, Paul Rudd plays Rick Power, an American wedding singer living in Dublin and befriending former boy band member Danny Wilson (Nick Jonas). When Danny steals one of Rick's songs and it becomes a hit, Rick decides to get revenge and achieve the recognition he's always craved.
Viewers will be transported to modern-day Dublin, where the film's scenes unfold throughout the city center. The film also features surrounding areas, such as the suburb of Crumlin with its old brick houses, and County Wicklow with its rolling hills and majestic medieval manors.
Scenes in dark Irish pubs might inspire you to grab a pint of Guinness.
'Power Ballad' is released in UK cinemas on May 29.
- House of the Dragon (Season 3): Wales and southern England, UK
House of the Dragon, the cult prequel to Game of Thrones, returns with a third season that will chronicle Rhaenyra Targaryen's attempt to seize the Iron Throne.
The drama's mythical scenes were filmed in picturesque corners of the UK - in the lush forests of southern England, on the rocky coastline and in the endless green spaces of rural Wales.
Take in the breathtaking shots of Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Dinorwig Quarry with its unique slate wall, and the mystical "floating" St. Michael's Mount in Cornwall, transformed into Driftmark Castle by House Velaryon. The battles may be bloody, but the scenery is magnificent.
The third season of House of the Dragon premieres on HBO Max on June 21.
- Bear (Season 5): Chicago, USA
The story of celebrated chef Carmi "Bear" Berzatto, who returns to Chicago to save his family's sandwich shop, comes to an end this summer.
Since its premiere in June 2022, the series has showcased Chicago's culinary delights, including iconic dishes like Chicago pizza and Italian beef sandwiches, as well as local establishments like Pequod's Pizza, Kasama, and Firecakes Donuts. All set against the backdrop of a steely cityscape.
As Berzatto adapts to life outside the kitchen and his staff struggles to save the restaurant and earn a Michelin star, viewers can once again feel the rumbling in their stomachs that only a culinary journey to this American city can satisfy.
The fifth and final season of "The Bear" will be available on Hulu on June 25.
- Five-Star Weekend: Massachusetts, USA
Based on Elin Hilderbrand's 2023 novel of the same name, the film stars Jennifer Garner as food blogger Hollis Shaw.
After her husband's death, Shaw invites four friends from different periods of her life to spend the weekend at her luxurious beach house on Nantucket. Through food and friendship, she attempts to cope with her grief.
Filming for Five Star Weekend took place on Nantucket itself, taking full advantage of the former whaling center's atmosphere, including its cobbled 18th-century historic center and wild ocean beaches.
Viewers will be treated to sweeping vistas of windswept moorland and touching scenes set in Hollis's stylish coastal kitchen.
Five Star Weekend premieres on Peacock on July 9.
- Moana: Hawaii, USA
The long-awaited live-action version of "Vayana" is a musical adventure film based on the 2016 animated film, in which a Polynesian teenage girl sets out to save her home island.
Vaiana (Catherine Laga'aya) is accompanied on her sea voyage by the demigod Maui, played by Dwayne Johnson, who also voiced the character in the animated version.
Together they sail the endless blue seas and explore lush tropical landscapes while trying to recover the stolen relic of the goddess Te Fiti.
Much of the film was shot on the island of Oahu (partially using CGI), so viewers can expect stunning shots of picturesque beaches, enormous palm trees, and volcanic cliffs.
These landscapes will surely make you want to set sail.
Moana hits theaters July 10.
- Odyssey: Greece and Sicily
Oscar-winning director Christopher Nolan releases his interpretation of Homer's classic epic this summer. Matt Damon plays the cunning Odysseus, attempting to return home after the Trojan War.
Nolan's film breaks all records for its star-studded cast, with supporting roles featuring Charlize Theron, Zendaya, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, and Robert Pattinson.
Filming the blockbuster itself was a true odyssey. To minimize the use of CGI, much of the shooting took place in incredible real-life locations in Scotland, Iceland, Morocco, Sicily, and Greece—with a reported budget of $250 million.
It is believed that certain Greek and Italian locations may have inspired Homer himself. While this has long been the subject of academic debate, the dramatic volcanic coastlines of this region do indeed seem ideal for encounters with mythical creatures.
Viewers will travel with Odysseus across the turquoise seas, white beaches, and ancient acropolises of the Peloponnese. One of the filming locations was Nestor's Cave, a coastal formation above the horseshoe-shaped Voidokiliya Beach.
Off the coast of Sicily, filming took place on the Aegadian and Aeolian Islands, including Favignana, known as "Goat Island" and, according to urban legend, as the island of the Cyclopes.
The Odyssey hits theaters on July 17.
- Ted Lasso (Season 4): Richmond, London
The British probably thought they were rid of Ted Lasso for good when he left London and returned to Kansas City at the end of season three.
But the most optimistic American soccer coach is returning to England in August. And this time, he'll be heading the AFC Richmond women's team.

As in previous seasons, he will try to adapt to the upscale areas of West London and return to familiar spots such as the cosy Crown & Anchor pub (in real life, it's The Prince's Head Pub) and his flat at 9 1/2 Paved Court, located on the picturesque cobbled street Paved Court near Richmond Green.
