Joe Biden announced that he is ready to become president of the United States: Trump's reaction
Joe Biden told some senior Democrats that he is running for president.
According to the newspaper Axios, the former vice-president appointed Tuesday the probable date for announcing his decision, writes New York Post.
Even Biden's younger brother, Frank, confirmed to the Palm Beach Post that he expects such a step.
“He might surprise me now,” the brother, a Palm Beach resident, told the newspaper. “But I know the family is behind him 100 percent.”
In an interview for the Saturday Night with Jeanine Pirro show on Fox News, President Donald Trump said that he was not concerned about the nomination of a competitor.
“A lot of people say Biden is doing great, but you know, he's always been a 1 percenter,” Trump quipped.
“He moved two or three times and never exceeded 1%. And then [Barack] Obama came and pulled him out of the garbage heap, and he became vice president and became the leader. ”
Meanwhile, on Saturday, the former mayor of San Antonio, Julian Castro, announced his participation in the 2020 presidential race of the year, becoming the last candidate from the Democratic Party in this election.
