Jeremy Renner undergoes two surgeries after snow removal accident: actor still in critical condition
Actor Jeremy Renner suffered "blunt force trauma to the chest and musculoskeletal injuries" following an accident while shoveling snow. He needed two surgeries CNN.

Renner underwent surgery on Jan. 2 and "remains in intensive care in a critical but stable condition," a rep for the actor said.
"Jeremy's family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful doctors and nurses caring for him, Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, Washoe County Sheriff, Reno Mayor Hillary Shiv, and the Carano and Murdoch families," a spokesman said in a statement. “They are also extremely grateful for the support from his fans.”

The Hawkeye actor needed two surgeries to treat the injuries he sustained in the accident.
“He has extensive injuries,” the doctors said.
Officers responded to the call in the Mount Rose Highway area of Reno, according to a press release from the Washoe County Sheriff's Office. The sheriff's office did not provide details on the extent of Renner's injuries or what may have caused the accident.

Rescuers coordinated with the fire department of Truckee Meadows and REMSA Health to arrange for Renner to be airlifted for medical treatment to a local hospital, the release said.
Renner, who stars in the Paramount+ series Mayor of Kingstown and appeared in several Marvel Cinematic Universe films, was the only person involved in the incident, officials said.
