Two Istanbul terrorists had Russian passports.

Among those who committed the terrorist attack at Istanbul Ataturk Airport were two Russian citizens, not one, as previously reported. Reports of the Turkish media about this was confirmed by the authorities of Kyrgyzstan.

As reported by Reuters in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Russian passports were found on the bodies of two participants in the attack on the Istanbul airport. The passports belonged to people named Rakim Bulgarov and Vadim Osmanov, the Foreign Ministry said, citing the country's consulate in Istanbul.

Earlier, the Turkish authorities Reportedthat three of the attackers were citizens of Russia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Some media outlets claimed that the Russian was from the North Caucasus, but this was not officially confirmed.

On Thursday, Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrei Karlov said that he had no information about the involvement of a Russian in the terrorist attack at Istanbul airport. “I don’t have any information on this issue,” he told reporters.

The shooting and explosions at Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul killed 42 people, including 13 foreigners. According to authorities, 239 people were injured. Among them was a Russian.

Three armed attackers began firing at the entrance to the airport terminal late in the evening on June 28. After the police fired back, they blew themselves up. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
