Two people won the 687 million dollar Powerball jackpot
The people of Harlem were stunned and glad to hear that some of them might have woken up as a millionaire.

One of two winning Powerball lottery tickets was sold in West Harlem. The as yet unknown winner will share the jackpot worth about $ 688 million. The happy partner bought another winning ticket in Iowa. This was reported by representatives of the lottery company.
Winners had to match all six numbers - 8, 12, 13, 19, 27 and Super Ball 4 - to claim the fourth-largest lottery winnings in U.S. history.
"Who is this?" asked Jose Espinosa from behind his father's counter in West Harlem Delhi, where a lucky lottery ticket was being sold. “That’s the only question that comes to my mind right now.”
Espinosa's 41-year-old said that he was most likely the one who printed the winning ticket, as he spends most of his working time behind the counter his father had owned for more than 15 years.
Now the winner from New York has one year to qualify for a one-time or annual payment.
Given that two tickets won in this lottery, the prize will be divided in half - $ 396,4 million each. And the winners get in their hands $ 198,2 million.
This is the second time a New Yorker rips off the biggest Powerball jackpot this year, lottery representatives said.
Recall that New York State law requires the winner to be publicly identified.
"The city is authorized to have winners come to a public event to receive their check," said Brad Mion, a spokesman for the New York State Gaming Commission. “This protects the integrity of the lottery and builds public confidence that people actually win.”
Several states allow lottery winners to remain anonymous, including South Carolina, where someone won the Mega Millions jackpot worth $ 1,54 billion last week, the second largest lottery prize.
