Disney may move from Florida to Texas due to new law
A Texas judge suggested that Disney move out of Florida amid an ongoing feud with state governor Ron DeSantis. Writes about it Fox Business.

In a letter to Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Chapek, Fort Bend County Judge Capie George suggested that the company consider Fort Bend County as a "hospitable place to do business."
“While you, your company, employees, and fans are facing authoritarian, anti-business, and cultural attacks from extremists in Florida, we at Fort Bend, Texas stand ready to welcome the Disney family,” the letter reads.
George described Fort Bend County as "a unique place" whose residents and families "constitute the most diverse county in the United States and where they live, the most buyers per capita in the United States."

The county is "strategically located for the most efficient distribution of goods domestically and internationally, including access to both inland and Texas water ports."
“With a strong focus on economic development, we encourage the growth of small and large businesses through a business-friendly climate; we make a difference in the lives of our children every day through youth empowerment initiatives and strive to continue to improve quality of life through new, fresh and innovative ideas,” said George. “I invite you to visit Fort Bend County and see for yourself why our community is the best place for the Walt Disney Company.”

George called DeSantis a "political extremist".
This came after DeSantis signed a law stripping the theme park of a decades-old special agreement that allowed the company to operate the park on its own.
The move comes in response to criticism of a new state law that bans discussion of sexual orientation and gender identity for elementary school students.
