Against the father of a six-year-old girl who, in an attempt to stop the cry of her younger brother, strangled him with a car safety belt, she was accused of leaving children without supervision.

26-year-old resident of Houston (Texas) Adrian Middleton left his two children in the car, and he went shopping, writes Mirror.

While he was gone, an 6-year-old girl strangled her younger brother with a seat belt. Middleton told the police that he left two children in the back seat of his 20 car on May 2018, and he went to the store, where he spent about two hours.

When he returned to the car, he saw that his son was unconscious, and a seat belt was wrapped around his neck. He called 911, but the rescuers who arrived only stated the death of the child.

Middleton's daughter was later interviewed by experts from the Harris County Children's Center. She said that she played with her younger brother in the back seat. But the fun ended with her anger when the baby burst into tears and did not calm down. The girl admitted that she wrapped the safety belt around his neck to silence him. The girl noted that after this the child finally fell silent, and she decided that he was sleeping.

Six months after the incident, the police completed the investigation of the case and brought charges against the father of the baby, who left him unattended.

My father told the Houston police that, leaving the store, he left the air conditioner on, turned on the film, and also left water and snacks for the children in the car. He added that he regularly looked out of the store to check on how children are doing.

Initially, the man told law enforcement officers that the children were fastened in their car seats, but later admitted that he did not use the car seats.

The officers also checked the security cameras from the store. The record showed that Middleton entered the building at 10: 35 and went out at 12: 15.

Going to the car, he saw that his daughter was crying in the back seat. The court documents claim that she told him that she “did something bad.”

The father, seeing his lifeless son, called 911 and tried to revive the child with the help of artificial respiration and an indirect heart massage, but this did not help.

Doctors ascertained the death of the boy, qualifying it as murder by strangulation. The girl is now under the care of her grandmother.
