Knesset member approves call to “hang Lieberman”

The legal adviser to the government, the state prosecutor and the Knesset speaker received letters requesting that they begin checking the actions of the head of the Meretz party, Knesset deputy Zahava Gallon, who approved the call to hang Avigdor Lieberman.

The letters were sent by right-wing camp activist Shai Glik - based on the results of publication on the website “0404“, whose journalists found out that Zahava Galyon put a “like” on a Facebook status that contained inflammatory calls against the head of the Our Home is Israel party. The author of the status was a college teacher with left-wing radical views. Among other things, she asked the question: “When will we finally hang the fat man?”

According to Glick, the “like” placed by Zahava Galon under the status may indicate only one thing - support for the initiative to kill Lieberman. He also recalled that the police launched a criminal investigation against a man who had called for the murder of Miri Regev on a social network.
