Flower fields in Carlsbad, California - the dream of all instagrammers

Although it is still unclear whether California will see another magnificent wildflowers bloom this year, there is at least one place in the state where instagrammers can go. These are flower fields in Carlsbad, reports Travel Duck Leisure.

Over the past few years, a flower farm in Southern California has become quite a popular destination, thanks not only to aspiring Instagram bloggers, but also to the stunning flowering of ranunculi in fields that stretch to the horizon. Good news for those who want spring: flowers have already appeared.

According to representatives of the farm, flowering is expected from March to early May. This gives visitors enough time to plan a trip, take a picture and share it with friends. This is truly a magnificent sight, because a flower farm grows about 7 million flowers on more than 50 acres (0,2 sq. Km) of slopes that rise above the ocean.

“It was a great rain,” said The Flower Fields general manager Fred Clarke. “We had heavy rain in December, which washed away some of the seeds and destroyed the fields in some places. Thanks to the quick response of our team, we were able to replant the flowers. Their growth is better than ever."

According to Clark, people from all over the world come to the fields to see purple, red, yellow, pink and white flowers. He noted that the team likes to think of the farm as a “theme park”.

"We use the term differently than other 'theme parks.' Of course it's a theme park. Our theme is the beauty of nature,” he added.

Entrance to the fields costs only $ 18 for the whole day. Guests can also take part in additional activities, including a $ 6 wagon ride through the fields. If you do not want to be limited to a one-time visit, purchase a subscription for $ 39 and come as many times as you want. Just behave yourself carefully and never sit down on flowers, do not trample them so that thousands of other people who want to come and enjoy them will love them.
