7 states reported new hospital admissions record due to COVID-19

Seven states reported new records for COVID-19 hospitalizations — Arizona, Arkansas, California, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas — and infections continue to rise. Writes about this The Washington Post.

Texas and California on Tuesday, June 23, reported 5000 new cases in a 24-hour period. Arizona, Nevada and Missouri also recorded new one-day highs. Overall, in 33 US states and territories, the average number of new infections is currently higher than last week.
