An official from Iowa sent out a rapper song to thousands of colleagues and was left without work
66-year-old director of social services in Iowa, Jerry Foxsoven is very fond of rapper Tupac Shakur - and it seems even too much.
On Fridays, he included rapper songs in the office and made regular mailings with quotes from his lyrics. On Valentine's Day, Foxowen sent everyone a photo of a smiling Tupac, and on his anniversary brought a cookie decorated with the words "Thug life" ("Gangster Life" is a group created by Tupac and released the album of the same name), Medusa.
In June, Foxsoven decided to hold the most massive action. He composed a letter in which he said that Tupac would have a birthday at the weekend - and offered to celebrate it by listening to the rapper's song. He added that this is his two-year anniversary of work in the department. Then Fox sent a letter to 4 300 email addresses of his colleagues and subordinates. The next day, Foxsoven was fired.

The representative of the governor did not confirm the direct link between the large-scale distribution and the dismissal of an official. Foxen himself told the Associated Press that he was actually about to leave.
After his dismissal in the department, it was calculated how many e-mails mentioning Tupac he sent to colleagues and subordinates in two years of work. When printing out more pages turned out 350. During this time, at least one person wrote a complaint against an irrepressible fan.
