Housing prices in the USA have peaked in the last 10 years

Prices in the secondary housing market in the US reached the 10-year high in January, reports golos-ameriki.ru. Such conclusions were made after the publication of the report of the National Association of Realtors.
The document notes that the growth in housing sales increased by 3,3%. Thus, annual sales in the residential real estate market amounted to 5,69 million homes.
According to the report, this growth in sales is due to a decrease in the number of residential real estate put up for sale. Representatives of the association of realtors said that sales increased by 3,8% compared with the data for the same period 2016 of the year.
Recall that many experts believe that it was Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential election that spurred the American real estate market. Anyway, among wealthy Russians, interest in buying luxury real estate grew on 35%. Analysts say that rich Russians are primarily interested in vacation homes, as well as real estate for the sake of investment. The amount of investments ranges from $ 500 thousand to $ 5 million.
