Britney Spears' ex-husband almost disrupted her wedding: he was arrested by the police

Britney Spears' ex-husband Jason Alexander barged into the pop star's wedding to Sam Asgari and nearly wrecked it. As a result, the troublemaker was arrested by the police. Read more about the incident told the publication Variety.

Sergeant Cyrus Zadeh said police officers were called to the Spears residence in Thousand Oaks, California to investigate a trespassing complaint. After checking the documents, Alexander was found to have a warrant for his arrest in another county. As a result, the man was arrested. Police are yet to determine whether Alexander will face further charges in connection with the break-in.

Spears married Alexander, her childhood friend, in 2004. They were married for a total of 55 hours, after which they divorced.

However, the incident with Alexander did not prevent the wedding of Spears and Asghari. About 60 guests attended the ceremony, including Madonna, Drew Barrymore and Paris Hilton, according to People. Spears wore a Versace dress and walked down the aisle to Elvis' Can't Help Falling in Love. People also reported that Spears' sons with Kevin Federline, Sean and Jayden, did not attend the ceremony.

Spears and Asgari were engaged in September 2021 - shortly before Spears finally got out of a 13-year custody battle with her family in November. The marriage of lovers took place shortly after the singer announced in May that she had a miscarriage. And a month earlier, in April, she announced that she was pregnant.

“Our love for each other is our strength,” Spears wrote on Instagram. We will continue to expand our beautiful family and are grateful for all the support. We ask for privacy at this difficult time."

Spears and Asgari first met on the set of her 2016 music video Slumber Party. Spears said in an interview in 2017 that she thought "this guy was really nice, so I called him," adding that "he's just a really fun and funny person."

"Marriage and children are a natural part of a strong relationship filled with love and respect," Asgari wrote on Instagram shortly after Spears announced her pregnancy.

This marriage will be the third for Spears. Her second husband was Kevin Federline. They officially divorced in 2007, and then there was a lengthy custody battle over their two children.

“I have always wanted the best for my soul mate,” Asghari said in February 2021. “And I will continue to support her in pursuing her dreams and creating the future she wants and deserves. I am grateful for all the love and support she receives from her fans around the world. Looking forward to an amazing future together.”
