Starbucks has stated that 29 May after 12: 00 will close more 8 000 coffee shops in the US to train employees for racial tolerance, it says website.

The training for staff was developed with the participation of experts in the field of racial tolerance, including in collaboration with former Attorney General Eric Holder.
Employees Starbucks they will watch videos with appeals from top managers and members of the board of directors talking about the importance of diversity and tolerance in the company, as well as appeals of famous people and staff stories about their experiences of tolerance.
The effectiveness of the training after its completion will be evaluated by experts.
The company's management said that in the future there will be even more initiatives to develop tolerance and tolerance among the company's employees.

After that, the men sat down at a table without making an order - they explained that they were expecting a friend, and after a while the third man actually arrived at this cafe. But before that, one of the employees Starbucks called the police. The police asked the men to leave the cafe - they refused, after which they were detained for illegal stay in the territory of foreign private property. The police released the prisoners several hours later.
Since the men were African-American, a wave of indignation arose on the Internet that such a situation would never have happened if they were white and behaved the same way.
The protests began near the cafe, the company apologized, the manager of the institution was fired, 16 of April was visited by the head of Philadelphia Starbucks Kevin Johnson hoping to meet with two injured men.
