De Blasio launched his campaign website on the morning of May 16, announcing his candidacy in a three-minute promotional video entitled "Working People Come First," he writes. NBC New York.

“New York's Bill de Blasio, considered the worst mayor in the United States, may announce his presidential bid today. He's a joke, but if you like high taxes and crime, he's your man. New York hates him!” Trump tweeted nearly two hours after de Blasio officially announced his candidacy.
