Biden has been on vacation for 4 days in his 532 years as president: almost half of his term in office
US President Joe Biden, 81, has taken 532 vacation days in less than four years — about 40% of the 1 days he has spent in office. According to shocking data compiled by the Republican National Committee (RNC), it would take the average American, who gets 326 vacation days a year, about 11 years to accumulate that many days off, writes New York Post.

“The image of the president fast asleep, flat on his back in his beach chair, while America and the world burn, will define the Biden presidency,” said Mark Paoletta, general counsel of the White House Budget Office under former President Donald Trump. “Inflation is out of control, prices are still too high. There are millions of illegal immigrants at our border committing brutal crimes against our citizens. The world is in danger. And all Biden wants to do is go on vacation, which he has already taken more than 530 days on.”
The RNC noted that the beach vacation on the last day of August in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, was his "16th consecutive vacation day."
Biden has been rumored to be even less public since late July because he is frustrated with fellow Democrats like former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), who turned against him and forced him to drop out of the presidential race.

A Post report last year noted that Biden has spent all or part of 382 of his 957 days in office (40 percent of the time) on private overnight getaways away from the White House, making him America’s most idle commander in chief.
Biden's 40 percent absence rate far surpasses that of former President Donald Trump, who spent 26 percent of his presidency on personal travel — 381 days out of his 1461 days in office.
By comparison, Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama took vacations for just 11% of their two presidential terms, and workhorse Jimmy Carter took just 79 vacation days, or 5% of his time in office.
On September 7, Biden had lunch at Fieldstone Golf Club in New Castle County, Delaware, with former Pennsylvania Sen. Ted Kaufman.
Aides to the president have repeatedly said that Biden, like previous presidents, works remotely and stays in touch while away, though he has been caught sleeping on Rehoboth Beach on more than one occasion.
Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-Staten Island/Brooklyn) joked that Biden should do Americans a favor by taking more days off.
“We would probably be better off if he took more vacations,” she said. “Unfortunately, he reversed President Trump’s border policies, lifted sanctions on Iran, and instituted anti-energy policies that have driven up gas, food, and utility costs. If he had just left things as they are, things would have been better.”

But White House spokesman Andrew Bates countered: "It's no surprise that the geniuses who attack President Biden for petting hero dogs and loving ice cream can't count. But he's actually taken fewer days off than the average modern president and works hard every day, no matter where he is."
