BI-2 goes to America with a big tour
As part of the grand BEST OF tour, the Bi-2 group will give 7 concerts in the USA. BI-2 needs no introduction - this is one of the most successful groups of the 2000s, which was created more than 30 years ago by two musicians - Leva Bi-2 and Shura Bi-2.
Legendary Russian rock band. Although its founders, Lyova and Shura, are from Belarus, which they left more than a quarter of a century ago and call themselves “citizens of the world.” “The idea for a song appears somewhere in Mexico, recording takes place in Moscow, mixing in London, and mastering in Los Angeles,” the musicians explain.
The song “Nobody Writes to the Colonel,” sounded in the cult film “Brother-2,” made the group famous. To be fair, it is worth noting that the song has nothing to do with America and Chicago, which flashes outside the window in the film. They wrote it about Melbourne, in those years when the musicians lived in Australia.
But with America, the group ties are still close. Lev's mother-in-law lives in San Diego and he sends his children to California for a few months a year. Yes, and he in the summer of a month or two is heated under the local sun.
At the concerts as part of the grand BEST OF tour, 100% of the band’s hits will be performed: “Nobody Writes to the Colonel”, “The Eternal Ghostly Counter”, “Silver”, “Fool”, “The Last Hero”, “My Rock and Roll” and other, familiar tracks.
An American tour with the BEST OF program will cover the following cities:
Los Angeles - January 27, special guest: Sonic Clouds (San Diego);
San Francisco - January 28;
Seattle - January 29;
Denver - February 1;
Boston - February 2;
Chicago - February 4;
New York - 5 February.
In addition to the musical component of the BEST OF concerts, Bi-2 prepared a new unique set design and light show especially for this program. An invariable component of the BEST OF show, of course, will be the powerful rock and roll “live” sound, for which all Bi-2 performances are famous!
