Personal experience: I am a professional Jeff Bezos look-alike and it makes good money
A former electrician from Germany went from a simple man to a rich man. He quit his job and became a professional double of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, reports New York Post.
Now, like his famous counterpart, he lives the luxurious lifestyle of an entrepreneur.
“I look like his twin brother,” Cagdas Halicilar, 46, said of his uncanny resemblance to the Amazon founder. Bezos is the second richest person in the world with a net worth of just over $201 billion.
With his bald head and casual clothes, Halicilar looks so much like a billionaire that he says fans crowd around him for selfies. They think he's the real Bezos. Read all about doubles in our article.

It is reported that Halicilar does not require much effort to get into the role.
"Since Jeff Bezos also dresses casually, it doesn't matter whether I wear a suit or jeans and a polo shirt," he said. — The only thing I do is shave my head and regularly smear myself with Nivea cream. But I’ve been doing this for over 10 years.”
The path of the double
The Leimen native worked as an electrician for the first half of his life, but, tired of long days spent on construction sites, decided to quit.
Like his double, Halitsilar also dreamed of becoming a successful businessman. He decided to quit his job and get into logistics. Three years ago, a former electrician founded the transport company CB Transporte.
Around that time, a friend noticed that he looked a lot like the Amazon founder.
“When I became an entrepreneur, my friends and acquaintances told me that I looked like a billionaire,” Halicilar shared his memories. “I didn’t know what they meant until they showed me a photo of Jeff Bezos.” Some of my friends joked that he cloned me."
Halicilar decided to take advantage of his “billionaire” appearance and signed a contract with an agency providing body doubles.
Working as Bezos' look-alike has landed the electrician some eye-popping opportunities, including various appearances on German TV channels and at various events.
He even guest-starred in the German Netflix miniseries King of Stonks.
Professional
In fact, Halicilar is so good at his new job that he allegedly even fooled Amazon employees into thinking he was the real Bezos.
“When I was in Seattle with friends, we walked around the Amazon campus,” Halicilar said about the curiosity. “Everyone at the company came up to me and wanted to take a selfie and thanked me for working at Amazon.”

The billionaire's doppelgänger says he's become so famous that he says "my partner sometimes gets annoyed when people come up to me and want to take selfies, and many don't even dare talk to me."
“My lifestyle is almost the same as his: I often travel on ships, I even have a butler, and I drink good whiskey, like Jeff,” Halicilar said. “My dream is to drink whiskey with Jeff Bezos on his yacht—he’s a yacht fanatic like me.”
However, Halicilar may have a long way to go before he can live up to his famous counterpart.
