After 3 months of quarantine through the coronavirus in Redondo Beach (California), the Inspire Gym opened. In order to keep visitors social distance, the owner of the gym installed insulating cubes. This is stated in the video "Voices of America".

“My wife and I started just wearing masks. We tried to practice wearing a mask, but it was very difficult to breathe. Therefore, we came up with cubes, made a frame from PVC pipes and separated them with shower curtains, says the owner of the gym, Pete Sapsin. “Many people come to us with these insulating cubes. They feel comfortable with that kind of protection. Even if we know that it does not protect 100%, but thanks to this they can feel much more comfortable, because there are several walls between people. "

“When they enter the cube - there are dumbbells, sports mats, benches - everything you need, including a disinfectant spray, so that they can clean up after a workout,” Sapsin said.
“I think this is a great idea. With insulating cubes, Pete and his team came up with a good idea. I felt safe, ”says gym-goer Tran Nguyen.

And here's what a gym owner says about the impact of the pandemic on business: “It devastated us. We didn't know if we could open up again. We have lost over 50% of our clients. The other 50% continued to train with us online, but the rest of the visitors were simply not ready. This situation was uncomfortable for them. So it was hard for us. "
