If your family is celebrating Mother's Day and wants to spend at least part of the day at a large chain home improvement store, you can get free flowers from them, reports Lifehacker.

How to Get Free Mother's Day Flowers at Lowe's

If you would like to receive free flowers from Lowe's for Mother's Day, you need to plan ahead. This is because the raffle is part of a weekend event dedicated to moms and "other special friends" that runs over the weekend, according to listand you need to book a seat to take part in the party.

What Flowers Does Lowe's Give?

The only information the store provides is that it will be "a perennial flowering plant that will bloom all spring and early summer for many years."

When registration opens at midnight EST on Sunday, April 30, visit event page on website Lowe's and fill out the form. While registration doesn't technically close until May 12, supplies (i.e. free flowers) are limited, so register as early as possible.

The event is scheduled from 10:00 to 13:00 on Sunday, May 14. At some point prior to this, Lowe's will send you an email with more information about the event, your timeslot, and instructions on how to pick it up. In addition to free flowers, you'll also receive a $10 coupon for your next Lowe's purchase over $75.
