Free Thanksgiving Turkey: Which Stores Offer Promotions
Turkey is considered the centerpiece of the Thanksgiving table, but it certainly isn't cheap. Where you can buy a turkey for free or very cheap on the eve of Thanksgiving, the publication said The Penny Hoarder.
The average price of a turkey last year was approximately $ 1,30 per pound (0,45 kg), which is $ 20,80 per bird weighing 16 pounds (7,2 kg), according to an annual survey by the American Federation of Farmers' Bureaux.
How to get a free turkey this year
To reduce holiday costs and attract more customers to their stores, many grocery chains are running special promotions that allow members of their bonus programs to receive a free turkey (or other element of the holiday table).
Of course, you shouldn't spend $ 100 on everything just to win a poultry that can be bought for $ 20. But if you're going to spend that money on organizing a party anyway, why not get a turkey for free?
Please be aware that these are online offers, however conditions may vary from store to store, so make sure your store is participating in the promotion ahead of time.
