In London, on Exibish Road in southern Kensington, near the Museum of Natural History, a car crashed into a crowd of people.
As a result of a collision with pedestrians, several people were injured, police said.
As the BBC News correspondent reported, the driver crossed the carriageway diagonally and knocked down at least one pedestrian.
An eyewitness who was walking towards the museum along the same street says: “We were waiting at the traffic light, and at that moment I heard sharp pops, like gunshots, and we saw a car jump out onto the sidewalk. We started running, my friend fell to the ground and cut her hands.”
One man was detained. The police emphasized that the man has not yet been arrested - officers are talking to him.
Two ambulances and several police units arrived at the scene. The circumstances of the incident are established. At the moment, the incident is not qualified as a terrorist attack.
Museum of Natural History evacuated. The Victoria and Albert Museum in front of him continues to work.
