The American airline gives free flights, but there is one condition

As part of the Green Week celebration, Frontier Airlines announced that anyone with the surname Green or Greene is entitled to a free domestic flight from the carrier. Writes about it Fox News.

However, the offer comes with a few caveats—the biggest being that eligible people must travel on a one-way or round-trip flight on August 13, 2019, and if they book a round-trip flight, must return by 23:59 on August 20th.

Green or Greenie, of course, must also provide official documentation confirming their last name. This offer does not apply to family members who do not bear their last name.

The campaign is part of the Green Week Frontier Airlines campaign to highlight their efforts to become the greenest carrier in the United States.

“We are proud to serve the community and understand the importance of becoming true stewards of the environment. We are focused on reducing Frontier's environmental impact and are constantly seeking innovative solutions and technologies to achieve this goal,” added Biffle.

To this end, Frontier also launched on Wednesday, 7 August, its “greenest flight” from Denver (Colorado) to Greenville (SC), on the A230neo Airbus, which the airline calls “one of the most economical in the world.”

During the flight, passengers were served soft drinks in environmentally friendly packaging along with composted cups and napkins, and the airline said it planted “enough trees” to compensate for the carbon footprint of the flight.

And for those who do not have a suitable name, Frontier Airlines has organized raffles of other equally good prizes.
