'The army will respond toughly': President Zelensky urged Russia to resume control over mercenaries

At the headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they say that only in the past 24 hours did the pro-Russian 23 separatists open fire on the positions of the Ukrainian military: shelling was carried out on positions in the settlements of Experimental, Vodyanoe, Chermalyk, Mayorskoe, Gnutovo village, near Marinka and the city of Pavlopol, as well as near the settlement Novoluganskoye, villages Travnevoe and Zaitsevo. The military emphasizes that shelling was carried out with weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements, including mortars of caliber 120 mm.

Representatives of the so-called “DPR” also accused the Ukrainian military of shelling Gorlovka on the night of June 7 with 122 mm artillery guns prohibited by the Minsk agreements.
